POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Assembler is responsible for a wide range of
functions including preassembly duties and testing rebuilt units in the Production Department. The
Assembler ensures that equipment is created and assembled efficiently and correctly. It is expected
that the Assembler aims to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together
equipment, troubleshooting problems, and repairing equipment to full functionality. The Assembler
will be expected to cross-train on other functions and positions within the team and will be held to a
high standard of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assemble various components while adhering to procedures and set specifications
- Uses Method Instructions to assemble equipment
- Inspects parts to ensure that quality standards are maintained
- Responsible and accountable for the quality of their work
- Performs simple calculations
- Maintains production records
- Clean and maintain work area
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) relevant to the work area
- Tests frozen beverage dispensing equipment for any discrepancies
- Identifies workmanship and component defects
- Troubleshoot issues and involve proper resources as necessary
- Ability to learn various tools and equipment as directed by management

To perform this job successfully, the Assembler must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detailoriented, and able to stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required.
- Able to assist Warehouse personnel in special tasks (i.e., use of pallet jacks, movement of units
- Able to obtain an ICEE forklift certification to assist in machine stocking/movement to various departments).
- Willing and able to assist in inventory cycle counts and year-end inventory.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish an evolving workload.
- Ability to learn various tools and equipment as directed by management.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must reside within a 30-minute radius of La Vergne, TN
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical background
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required
- Must have and wear steel-toed shoes
